I had not heard anything either, but emailed the program director Thursday (2/18) and learned that they have already done interviews & recommended students for admission. He said they had a large number of qualified applicants and a limited number of spots. So if you haven't heard anything, be prepared for a rejection. :///

Thanks for your reply!! I have an informal meeting tonight with current graduate students so I am planning on asking to get more information.

I have an upcoming grad school interview and on the schedule there is a time slot for introduction and writing sample. Has anyone had a writing sample during an interview? What does it entail?

I applied to the master's program for NC State. Is it safe to say I will be receiving a rejection at this point as I haven't heard anything?? Also haven't heard back from other NC schools, ECU or APP. Has anyone heard anything? The waiting is driving me crazy!

Has anyone heard back from NC State yet? I am getting nervous because in past years interview invites had already been sent out at this time..
