It's been on Thursdays for the last three years (2018,2019, and 2020...yes, I checked *facepalm*). It might be Thursday the 25th this year, so just about 2 weeks from now!!!

@KcNc2019did you apply for financial aid/interview for a fellowship as well? I wonder if its only going out to applicants who applied to/interview for specific fellowships....

Thank you! Yeah, HKS has a dual program with a bunch of MBA programs around the US. I'll be starting at MIT's MBA program this Fall.

Similar question as @MPPHopeful12: I applied to MPP too as a joint degree candidate, having already gotten into a partner MBA program. I plan to start in the MBA first, so I did not apply for any financial aid this year since apparently you should only apply for financial aid and fellowships for the upcoming year (please tell me I'm right on that). Would this effect my MPP application negatively?

That's the weird part - they have always been VERY active throughout Feb and March in past years. Check out the archived posts from March 2020 in the blog itself. In their defense, those are super helpful and apply this year as well so probably not efficient for them to repeat the same info. Long story short, during this time they're usually working to publish results in the third or fourth week of March and they don't seem to know exactly when until closer to the release date. They also emphasize that the blog is the only place to check for decision release updates, and that they'll post there once decisions are published.

It is, its getting so hard to wait!! But they did note record high number of applications this year, plus deadline to submit was also 4-5 days later than usual this year.

I think Thursday, march 25th. One week later than what it was last year (Thursday, March 19). They said "late March", which likely means week of the 22nd. I wish they'd provide a little more transparency on what's going on behind the scenes

Will one be considered for fellowships if they didn't apply for financial aid? Can they be solely merit based?

I'm so confused about the total silence in the admissions blog. Seems unprecedented!! Really hope we get something from them soon on how the process is going and when we can expect decisions. The website has been updated to read "end of March" (for results).

HKS explicitly asked the MPP essays to be double spaced and in PDF form so you're fine!

Hey folks, eagerly waiting for the next admissions blog post - its unusual for them to go so long without posting based on past years! I recently got into the MIT MBA program and HKS knows I've applied for the dual MBA/MPP. Should I email them as an FYI? Also, any thoughts on my chances? 1 YOE in consulting, 2.5 YOE at a nonprofit. GRE is 161V/160Q. Quant heavy - calc, econ, stats - undergrad.
