ahhh both are such amazing schools!! I second that both are great programs so you can't go wrong! Saving money and funding is a biiiiig factor though, I agree. Congrats on Northwestern!

Yeah, I really wanted to go to Columbia but I can’t imagine just having that much debt over me. I’ve been trying to ask people what they would do in my situation. Are you leaning towards CUNY/Northwestern more?? Also I can’t believe you got into Stanford with a scholarship and aren’t going! That was the one school that rejected me. Congrats!

I haven’t heard from NYU at all... I’m in a different specialization but still ? I tried emailing but haven’t gotten a response yet.

I spoke to someone and they said we should hear by tomorrow or Monday at the latest!

I'm in the exact same boat and I'm thinking the same... the thought of tackling on so much debt is really scary. I'm debating between CUNY/Northwestern as well and am still waiting from NYU but I feel like they will barely give financial aid too if I get in.

If it makes you feel better.. I still haven't heard back from NYU either. Although my specialization is different

Got rejected from Brown lol (of course) BUT.... I GOT ACCEPTED TO NORTHWESTERN FOR A MASTERS IN JOURNALISM!! (I applied to journalism and creative writing) sooooo it looks like I'll be going to grad school after all! I still have 2 MFA programs left to hear back from since I only applied to 4. Exciting yet nerve-racking times!!

Just got the call from Medill! I got accepted!! Round 2 people should be hearing today!

Sigh.. I'm so sick of that one person with multiple accounts trolling people. They seem to truly have hatred in their heart and for that I feel incredibly sorry for them. This is such a nice community. Wishing you all luck as we wait to hear back from the rest of our schools!
