Oh cool!! Good to hear ? Yeah, I'm kind of concerned about Berkeley but it's my alma mater so if I don't get in, I won't be too upset. And yes, I applied for magazine/digital at NYU too! What would your top choice be out of all your schools?

Applied for the magazine specialization and had my interview already for Medill. I actually think it went really, really well Hopefully things end up working out! I applied to Berkeley, Columbia, NYU, Newmark School of Journalism, and Stanford. I had my writing tests for Columbia and Newmark already, haven't heard back from Berkeley yet. I didn't get an interview invite for Columbia but I applied for the MS program and heard that they don't do interviews for the MS track? I don't know honestly. Does anyone know if NYU does interviews? Anyways, hoping we all hear back soon with results and get in somewhere!

Also didn't get it oh well.. I'm sure there were so many applicants this time around especially. Don't be discouraged y'all! Hoping I at least get an acceptance from Stanford, that would be incredible.

Do you mind sharing why you did a pivot from journalism? I know the job market is tough right now so that was definitely in the back of my mind when applying to several journo programs but I'll see what ends up happening.

Hi everyone! Super late to posting on here but I applied to 4 MFA programs and figured I would share. I'm a writer from California and also applied to several journalism programs. I just really love writing and figured while getting into an MFA program is a long shot, it doesn't hurt to try. I'm wishing you all good vibes and crossing my fingers for you!!

Hi fellow journalist!! I also applied to Northwestern and Columbia with a couple other schools. I can't take the anticipation!!! Hopefully we start hearing back soon!

Oh cool! Those are all good schools-- USC has such a good journo program and I wish I applied but it slipped my mind! I'm excited for the Medill interview but kinda anxious as well. I guess I'm just anxious in general as I wait to hear back. I haven't heard anything from Berkeley yet which is weird because I already had a couple writing tests from other schools so I assumed Berkeley would have contacted by now as well. I think they may start contacting people in February? I'm not totally sure but I haven't heard of anyone else being contacted so far.
