Hello! I was put into the waitlist so honestly I don't have any tips or advice haha. I have around 4000 paid working hours related to human service (but not very closely related to social work) and around 500 volunteer hours. My GPA is around 3.6. I guess every part of my application is just average/slightly above average so I was not able to get in. I really like the clinical nature of the program, especially if I am able to enter the 2-year program this year, I can focus on the trauma-informed practice in my second year of study. Hopefully I can get out of the waitlist ?

Just curious, did anyone else hear back from University of Calgary?

I can imagine your disappointment after these 3 years of trying!! I hope we will get out of the wait list! Do you have any idea how long is the wait list?

I received the email from the University of Calgary and I was wait listed. Feeling sad.

Still no news for me. I guess they will send out the results next week.

Hello it is my first time to post something here. I also applied the University of Calgary 2-year MSW. I read the Canadian MSW 2019 thread and somebody got the offer on 14 February!
