The Bard website says deny letters won't be sent out till the end of April... March 6, 2021 Interviews for selected candidates. March 12 -15, 2021 Candidates notified of acceptance and financial aid. Waitlist candidates notified. March 25, 2021 April 30, 2021 Accepted candidates decision and $515 enrollment deposit due. Deny letters sent.

I think this will be the case across all summer / low-residency programs, given the state of vaccines and the continued uncertainty. It sounds like the hybrid model is to have the facilities be accessible for students who want to be there in person, but allow students to participate remotely if they prefer, have classes online, and potentially have some in-person gatherings (socially distanced, etc.) All of this subject to change based on what happens of course.... (sigh)

When talking to schools (in portfolio reviews etc.) I heard from multiple people to always put in descriptions. This could be about the artwork, the materials, the concept, questions or challenges you encountered, a story about it, etc. So...yeah!!

I have my first interview coming up this week...any advice about Zoom setup? For instance... What kind of background is best? Real - virtual - artwork - something else.. What to wear (keep it casual? dress it up?) etc. Thanks! appreciate this forum & best of luck to all!
