Hi everyone! For people that accept your awards and activated them, how long did the activation process take? At U of T we have to fill out a form that is sent to the Graduate Administration and then the GAO Administration.
Hi everyone! I just received a CGS-M CIHR offer this afternoon at U of T, after being placed on the Alternate list on April 1st. I honestly accepted that I probably had no chance of getting off the list, and was not expecting this at all. To other alternates, don't give up hope! There is always still a chance Good luck everyone
I know in previous years people have emailed the respective University to find out their ranking. I'm not entirely sure who to email ... graduate studies?
I opened my application and the status is "Alternate". Kind of disappointed, but maybe there is still a chance (I'm not hopeful). Good luck to everyone else!
Hi everyone, has anyone heard any news yet? I noticed that they updated the IMS website saying that the admission committee will meet starting in February, so I'm assuming that they've had their first meeting?
I'm trying not to think too much about my application but the anxiety and lack of uncertainty is always constantly in the back of my mind.
I hope so as well! I was shocked to hear that some people heard back even later than April. I think the admissions committee meet for the first time in March, but I'm not sure. Hopefully we hear back soon.
I also applied to the MSc Medical Science at UofT! Do you have any idea when the earliest round of admission offers are expected to go out? I've talked to previous graduates and they've mentioned getting notified in late April. Since we both applied early in the cycle, I'm wondering if we will be notified earlier as well?
