  1. Yes! @ashleyym made it: https://www.facebook.com/groups/440288837064537 ?
  2. I was rejected earlier and my Loris didn't change.
  3. Just got an email from York for 2-year saying there's a delay in responses, so they're aiming for the latter part of May, and we'll get notified via phone call and on MyFile if we're accepted.
  4. I feel like this may have been mentioned before, but did anyone contact York about their responses? And if yes, did they indicate when it would start rolling out?
  5. Omg I think I need to turn my notifs off from my computer... every time I get an email notification, I literally get so anxious ?
  6. I honestly hope they aren't doing one letter a day ?
  7. I emailed Laurier last week and their response for when to hear back was, "Decisions may be made earlier or later than expected". So the website does say the target month is April so I'm guessing that it could come any time and day in April or perhaps even after April.
  8. I think we all made some progress this long weekend though.?? I personally did not check anything since Thursday and only gave in today, so I'm feeling pretty good and proud of myself LOL
  9. HONESTLY haha. I'm literally logging in and refreshing every few minutes ?
  10. So sorry to hear that but thank you for sharing! Just wanted to know, did you get an email about this or did you just happen to check Myfile for this? Wondering if I should be constantly checking MyFile today or not...
  11. Yes, I'm in the same boat as you! My uWindsor 2-year offer expires on April 1, so I too have to make a decision by then. I am waiting for UofT, York, and Laurier still but I guess their responses will be coming in after April 1. ?
  12. Yes, that's what I did and they said that the 21 days is a solid deadline and you can't have an extension as per the School of Social Work... I guess unless your situation calls for an extension? Not sure. ? Thank you though
  13. Hey everyone! I have a question - I live in Toronto and have been accepted to UWindsor and my 21 day deadline is fast approaching. I applied to York, UofT and Laurier (which would be closer for me), but since their decisions come out a bit later, I was wondering if anyone knows whether I can accept and then decline UWindsor's offer if I hear good news from the schools closer to me?
  14. Woohoo 9 more days! ? I love this idea haha! It definitely is super stressful as I just sit by my computer constantly checking ACORN and my email. Hopefully we all hear back from UofT and the rest of universities soon
  15. Hi! I got accepted yesterday as well to uWindsor and my deadline is April 1 - they give 21 days after the invitation is made
  16. Same here! Mine changed on March 2, and I just checked and it updated today to March 8 as well. Wondering when we'll hear back now. ?
  17. I feel like it means that it is undergoing further assessment, but I could be wrong. I was super anxious and checked their website and it said: If you application shows that it is “In Progress” then it is currently being reviewed by the department you applied to OR it is in the Office of Graduate Studies for further review. So I'm thinking it's with the Office of Grad Studies now? Hopefully good news will come soon! ?
  18. Yes! My status date changed a few days ago as well, not sure what that means though.
  19. Congrats to everyone getting in! ?? Does anyone know when the 2-year MSW responses will come in for... well any of the universities? I applied to York, UofT, Laurier, and Windsor. The waiting game is sooo stressful and I get even more anxious when I see the advanced standing applicants are hearing back already, haha ?
  20. I could be wrong, but I think it is 5 terms. So if you start in Fall 2021, you finish in Winter 2023 (April). From the UofT's MSW grad info, they said: The University schedules three graduations each year (June, November and March). June graduation: If program requirements are completed and grades received by the SGS deadline in April. November graduation: If program requirements are completed and grades received after the SGS deadline in April. Students who have completed program requirements by the end of the Fall Session and meet the SGS deadline for grade submission can elect to graduate in March (in absentia) and have the diploma mailed at the end of March (there is no formal convocation ceremony in March) or wait until June to graduate and receive the diploma at the June convocation ceremony.
