  1. Can confirm it’s not working lol. i emailed the grad head to try to get a working link but it’s crickets.
  2. My thoughts exactly. Seems really unprofessional. I think it will be a bloodbath, I’m considering not attending.
  3. Did anyone get the insane email from SAIC photo about interviews being a crit with the other interviewees? don’t know how that will work…. good luck to everyone and their Yale interviews! All I can say from my experience of interviewing is the worse I think I did usually the better the outcome is lol.
  4. Do you know if Columbia contacted all accepted applicants after interviews? I interviewed but guessing I was rejected as I haven’t heard anything 😞 also did they offer funding!
  5. Speaking from my experience speaking to faculty from different institutions, asking where else a student is applying is usually and almost exclusively a great sign that the institution is interested in you and would like to know who they are competing with. It’s also a common question in the interview process. Applying to multiple programs is totally normal and they expect this, applying to multiple schools in a city can also be reassuring to them that you are committed to living there. Furthermore, it would be unacceptable and unprofessional of them to ask another institution to deny you. Any self respecting institution would not heed that request.
  6. I received a Hunter photo interview yesterday.
  7. Anyone hear from UCLA photo? I know they only accept like two people so it’s basically playing powerball but I’m curiouuuuuss.
  8. I interviewed at UC Riverside on Friday as well. The interview was pretty thorough so just a reminder for everyone to practice your interviewing skills and be ready to explain your work/interests/references!
  9. Yea, I'm with you. I'm wait listed as well. Seems to make a short term decision even more complex, as waitlist makes for a compelling reason to re-apply next year, an option I was not really contemplating weeks ago. I think it's important to remember that wait list is still a huge accomplishment, and a big validation. Take time to soak it in and one step at a time!
  10. Hey everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster. Great to hear everyones successes, and help! Quick question here, I have an interview at the end of the month for Yale photo. Wonder if there are any other's here who have clarity on the image submission process. Along with images they're asking for a PDF thumbnail inventory. Can someone tell me wha t the heck that means lol. Much love and good luck to everyone!
