  1. anyone hear from Management/Macro OB programs yet? it seems like most schools sent out interviews around now
  2. does anyone know if Stanford or Kellogg are interviewing for macro OB/management this year? those two schools seem to have been the most inconsistent with interviews.
  3. Program Applied To (MPA, MPP, IR, etc.): MPP/MPA Schools Applied To: USC Price (MPP), UCLA Luskin (MPP), UW Evans (MPA) Schools Admitted To: USC Price ($$), UCLA Luskin (no funding), UW Evans ($$) Schools Rejected From: none Still Waiting: none Undergraduate Institution: highly-ranked undergrad business school Undergraduate GPA: 3.57 Undergraduate Major: Business/Political Science/Economics GRE Quantitative/Verbal/AW Scores: 170/163/5.0 Years Out of Undergrad (if applicable): 2 Years of Work Experience: 2 (full-time)/3 (including internships) Describe Relevant Work Experience: I did an internship at a non-profit that focused on building public-private partnerships, but my other internships and my full-time position were finance/tech related. Strength of SOP (be honest, describe the process, etc): I presume pretty strong? I wrote about my academic experiences and interests in CSR/social impact and contrasting it with what I've seen professionally. For my personal statement, I wrote about my identity and lived experience as a POC female in my personal statement and what that means in the context of greater racial inequality. Strength of LOR's (be honest, describe the process, etc): I asked two of my professors and one of my managers from my full-time role. I got the chance to speak with two of my recommenders before their wrote their recs and got to see them and provide some feedback before they submitted. I have no idea what my last recommender wrote, but I guess it was at least positive. Other:
  4. i also applied to UCLA and UW - i spent the last 5 years in NYC and want to come back to the west coast (i'm from the SF area) i received an admission from the MPP program last thursday (3/11). good luck to everyone waiting to hear back!
  5. more applicants doesn't necessarily mean more competition (since some people are probably applying without any real preparation - especially since the GRE was waived at most schools), but it seems that the admissions departments are definitely overwhelmed from the higher volume, resulting in later notifications
  6. I emailed them earlier this week, and the admissions team responded that people would be receiving decisions "from now until early May". kinda ridiculous considering that a lot of programs have an enrollment deadline of april 15th
  7. yeah... i didn't even get anything other than the automated email that confirmed that my application was received. their reminder email for the merit deadline said they're aiming for notifications for late February (which has obviously passed by now). it also seems like all the other programs in Price (MPA, MUP) have already heard back
  8. has anyone heard anything about price's MPP? i haven't heard anything since i submitted early December, and i haven't seen any mention in this forum either. any extra info about decisions would be appreciated!
