Got rejected today by TC and they didn't even email me to check my application status — I just happened to check it and it was there. Honestly I'm fine with not getting in because this lack of communication is a big red flag for me

I wanna be understanding of how this year made it difficult to stick to a schedule similar to years' past, but if other schools were able to, I think TC should be able to as well. it's just disappointing when I heard multiple times I'll hear back by mid-March and now it's March 18th and I still have nothing. This level of professionalism can't be good for yield

Got it! Thank you for the info. It sucks that they can't get back to us sooner given the deadline for most deposits is April 15th. Oh well!

Has anyone who applied to the Sociology and Education MA program still not heard back? I'm getting a little impatient...

Aww thank you that means a lot haha!! I think it'll also come down to $$ for me, and I'm waiting on one more school so we'll see what happens. I am a huge fan of ECS and Penn GSE though! Out of all my choices rn it's my top one

Anyone here apply to the M.S.Ed Education, Culture and Society program? I went to an info session and the program director said they try to do a 30-day turnaround for decisions from the priority deadline (which would be today). Also the last "wave" of acceptances from a Penn GSE program was last Monday so hoping we hear something today! I was rejected from HGSE last Friday and would really like some good news

Still waiting on MA Sociology and Education...anyone else not hear back yet? The last time someone on this thread got into the program was March 1 so I'm kinda sad and expecting a rejection at this point ?

@emstaal I was unable to login ? I don't think it's a fluke if you had to sign in using login credentials. Damn, now I wish I hadn't tried lol this sucks

Sigh...I was really hoping they're bluffing but it looks like it isn't gonna be today. All these nerves for nothing!

Congratulations! I didn't know they sent out acceptances this early. I don't see any others on the GradCafe results database. How were you notified of your decision? Did you get an email telling you to check your portal? I applied to this program too and I'm kinda nervous now haha
