  1. I applied to Columbia M.S. in Sustainability Management for the spring term and heard back in 4 or so weeks. I got the impression that they review applications relatively quickly, and the admissions office is quite flexible. I ended up deferring my admission to fall 2021, which was also easy to do. They don't offer any merit based aid because, as they said, "the program is available part-time, so students can work." They do have some funding opportunities such as Fellows programs, assistantships, and internships, but I'm pretty sure not everyone can get those. Still even if you do, most of the tuition cost falls on students.
  2. I got an email this morning with funding info from Duke as well! $5k merit and $5k need based
  3. My first and last name letters are in the beginning of the alphabet but still no response from Bren. I doubt they do it this way lol Have no idea how they release admissions decisions, but they are definitely playing with my nerves.
  4. I haven't heard from Bren either, it's the last school I'm waiting for, submitted my application on Jan 5th. I have 2 admissions from Duke and Columbia (sustainability management), leaning toward Duke. It seems like they have the strongest Energy program based on what I read and heard.
  5. Hi everyone, I've obnoxiously checking my email and this forum for updates and thought I'd share where I stand with my applications. I applied to Duke MEM, Yale MEM, UCSB MESM, UC Berkley Energy and Resources, and Columbia M.S. In Sustainability Management. I got acceptances to Duke and Columbia, got a rejection from Berkley, still waiting on Yale and Bren. My productivity is definitely not peaking these days, hope they won't make us wait much longer. Columbia doesn't offer any funding and Duke said they will be reaching out with funding decisions by mid-March. Is anyone here thinking of double majors like MEM/MBA or MEM/JD? Good luck with your applications everyone!!
