  1. Thanks for sharing your experience @45ter, it really tells us to count any blessings we have in hand. I am glad you have a great offer in hand this time, all the very best to you. @lifeisbrutal first of all I just vibe with your username so much. But more importantly, good luck on improving your application and hope you get your desired school next time. It indeed is nice to meet kind people on the net
  2. So yup. Rejected as well, was expecting it by now. Congratulations to everyone who made it. For everyone who are still waiting for results from unis, good luck!
  3. I thought so too @Calzone864; I was wondering about the deadline UMich set for themselves - post April 15 - the odds of students not having an offer by then are probably low. But then it will definitely make the life for students waiting for that verdict, so better a late verdict than never.
  4. Thanks for sharing. 1st May! So this brings me to a different question. Suppose we accept an offer from a school but we get an offer from our first choice after April 15. What happens then? Because most of the offers state that April 15 is the deadline after which the decisions are final...
  5. On a side note, how many of us are American students and how many international? More out of curiosity than anything else, to figure out if there is a correlation between geography and those who haven't yet gotten a response. Maybe y'all can respond by upvoting/liking this post instead of replies (and hence won't need to count) Upvote: International Like: American I don't think I can like/upvote my own post, but fyi I'm an International.
  6. The offers I have in hand all good-naturely state the April 15 deadline, deliberating between them so that I can reject the one I won't be going for sure and maybe unlock someone waitlisted. God help us... fingers crossed.
  7. I think we can safely say that we did not hear back early march. Jokes aside, I'm at this point debating heavily whether I should go ahead and accept the offer I've received from a good school, or still wait for the rejection. What are you all planning?
  8. Same. I wish it wasn't the case. But I can't find myself arguing.
  9. Has anyone received offers from Systems/Arch? At this point I'm not sure what to think. People who have not been accepted or rejected, should we assume that it is a rejection or waitlisting? For example the people who posted that they have been waitlisted, have they received explicit emails stating that they have been waitlisted?
  10. OK so this thread is basically dead. But I have the same questions people had 6 years ago, more so as Cornell apparently is doing rolling admissions this year. I don't see any activity in the survey anymore, does anyone have any information they can share?
  11. I echo @45ter's thoughts here, the visit days are upon us, so do we still have hope? It seems a batch of rejections went out on 1st March. So is no news good news, or we should give up all hope... @SigFyg after seeing the "Early March" part on the portal I did joke to myself that 14 is the max that can still technically qualify as "early". Didn't think it would actually turn out to be true!! I really wish I knew the verdict either way so that I could move on...
