Can someone walk me through how we actually upload documents? When I follow the link in this email, it takes me to an empty folder with no option to upload anything.

I went into my app with no publications and got the CGS-D this year! I wouldn't count yourself out yet!

My subcommittee (4E) funded 58 applications (42.6%) and didn't fund the other 78 (57.4%). My score was in the mid 9 range and I received the CGS-D.

I was also funded! CGS-D, Committee 4, last name D. @worldlyreader I would let your supervisor know! Mine had no idea until I called them.

Nope... at least for now, it's empty. It says "There are no documents in this view" and that's it.

I'm sorry but this is just... so silly 😂 Can they not do the required work on the portal so half of applicants don't have to wait an extra day based on their names?

Results started to get released on April 26th, and then their systems crashed. Everyone from committees 1-3 had heard, but only some from 4, and no one from 5. Then it took them five days to resolve the tech issues. So those people who hadn't heard yet were just sitting in limbo.

Gosh, let's hope so!

I emailed again to confirm that results would be out today! Here was the response: "Good morning, The results will be downloaded in 2 batches. Some will be downloaded on the Extranet tonight and the rest tomorrow night. You will receive an email probably this afternoon with information on how to see your results." So... some of us will be out of our misery today, but not all of us. 🙃🙃

Still nothing from me... I think we might be waiting another day. I amused myself by going back and reading last year's thread from about April 26th onwards. It was utter chaos but what really stuck out was how much solidarity people on the thread were showing each other! I know the wait is excruciating but you're all amazing and I so hope things pan out for you. ❤️💪🏽

I remember last year the goalpost just kept moving... They would give us a date and then that date would pass. I wish we were seeing more understanding of how vulnerable a position we're in as students waiting this out. 20k a year (never mind the new 40k!!) can make an immediate, tangible difference in our financial wellbeing. Feeling a lot of anxiety and pressure around these results makes sense, and I think clear communication and transparency around timeline is a fair ask. But it really feels that the urgency... is not matched on their end.

I had this fear as well... at this point, tomorrow may actually be the best case scenario 🙃

Was it someone on this thread who called? I haven't had any luck calling because we can only reach the IT help desk!

It came directly from SSHRC. It wasn't automated, I had emailed them directly to ask about the timeline. So I wouldn't expect an email from them today.

I tried to post an email update I received but it got held back by moderation. Sorry if it ends up double posting! It's not the update we were hoping for. :// They said "The results of the doctoral awards competition will be sent electronically via the SSHRC extranet next week." So we should all try to turn off our brains this weekend. We're not getting anything till Monday at the earliest.

Oh boy.... so, emails started to come out the day after NSERC got theirs. And then SSHRC's system crashed. So some people had their results right away, but others (I think about half of applicants overall) were trapped in results limbo for an additional week while they sorted out their tech issues. No timelines were provided. And then some of us waited out that entire extra week just to be rejected anyway (myself included lol). It was a 0/10 experience from me!

Last year was horrendous... I so hope we don't have that kind of mess again!

This update made me smile because we are all just like- please let this tiny difference mean something 🥺 Every year they make us wait past the NSERC kids to get our results and it's so hard!

Can anyone confirm that the system is indeed under maintenance at the moment?
