let's all find stuff to do today that will distract from our fulbright worries... chocolate usually works.

i feel that, as a UK applicant, i have so little hope to make it into the finals that i am not really that nervous today... probably will be tonight though, but only a little bit. there are 32 UK grants, only 14 of which aren't assigned to specific schools. that means probably around 50 finalists, give or take... that's not a lot if they got the same bucketload of apps like they did last year i think i'm trying to psych myself into not worrying.

Yep, I just got an appropriately vague email from my campus adviser, too. Notice of finalist or non-finalist status will be sent by IIE to all applicants on the 21st.

I know just what you mean!! BAH! I was prepared to not freak out about this until next week... but the freakage is happening NOW!! I've got the essays for the final round of another fellowship due on Friday... and another fellowship application due on Jan 31... so much madness... !!

17 more days until fulbright ... wooooooooooooooooo! i've applied to the uk, so i feel like i probably have no chance ... my fulbright advisor said that uk final results will come out in late march/early april, but other countries might not release results until june ...

Woohoo!! Well done on the other fellowship!! Good luck w/ Fulbright, too! I feel like I have basically no hope of getting a UK Fulbright, but I am hoping for it anyway... Praying to the Fulbright gods!
