Wondering if anyone has gotten off/heard back about the waitlist? Or any info on when they do first round of applicants getting off of the waitlist? Not sure how long to wait for before just mentally moving on.

I haven't lived in Chicago but was recently looking up rent prices by the UChi campus -- seems more affordable than Manhattan! Not sure about other types of expenses though, maybe someone else on the forum can give some insight on that!

Didn't apply to Sciences Po, but just so you have another perspective, I'm most likely confirming UChicago Harris for the MPP program! McCourt seems to have a bad rep (and there is one alumni on here that provided a lot of information on why McCourt is a difficult school to be in), which factored into my decision a lot, plus I don't love quantitative subjects and Harris is much more abstract in terms of that than McCourt. In regards to SIPA, if you didn't get funding then I would say it's not worth it to spend so much. As someone who already studies in NYC, I know how crazy the cost of living is here. Add the SIPA tuition and it seems like too much (to me, at least.) Harris is ranked higher anyways, I believe. But I do get that since Columbia an Ivy League, that can make your decision harder! Good luck!

Would you mind telling me why McCourt was at the bottom of your list? I got in too (for the MPP, with great funding) and would love to hear why it may not be all that

If it doesn't come out by tonight....what seems like the next best potential date? Any day from today I suppose?

Also I was majorly close to having a breakdown this morning (from the stress of not knowing), but chatting with everyone here on the forum really helped ease my anxiety. It feels good to know I'm not alone. Thank you so much!!! I hope we all get what we applied for!!

Agreed, I got into UChicago and Georgetown exactly on the dates provided. I have a feeling it's going to be an 8pm email from SIPA

Maybe that person applied EA and was waitlisted earlier which is why SIPA got back to them earlier? I don't know I just need a reason to still have hope LOL

So either.... someone lied or we're all getting rejected. Oof. Hate that for us.

Does anyone think we'll get results today? Or is Monday the next best bet?

I applied for the MPA program and haven't heard back yet. Does anyone know if they release admissions in waves? Since someone on this thread wrote that they've already been admitted to the MPA program, I feel like I should be expecting a rejection email today or tomorrow.
