  1. i’m in a meeting right now and i feel myself on the verge of having a conniption waiting to hear, trying to remain focused and composed. BRING IT ON!
  2. AH THE SUSPENSE! has anyone else heard anything?!
  3. OH MY CONGRATS!!!! yes mine still says under review as well but so great that people are starting to hear back!!!
  4. I’m shook that nobody seems to have heard anything about waitlist/acceptance to the 2-year UofT program..... mid-April is next week....?...... even if the news isn’t what I want to hear i’m READY FOR IT! As someone who wants to work in the field of mental health, this surely has been a test of my own ability to cope.
  5. HONESTLY! should change my name on this forum to impatiently waiting
  6. Thank you , yes me too. I’m waiting to hear back from U of T as well, so hoping that there’s positive news on either end, whether it be an offer of acceptance to U of T or moving off the Carleton waitlist.
  7. I’m currently on Carleton waitlist for the two-year at a spot really close to receiving admission ( as they tell you what spot you’re on). Feels so close yet so far away!
  8. this is a MOOD, I too have a rather unhealthy relationship with the forum. ? We deserve a break from thinking about decisions ; we’ve got this!
  9. Yeah I’m wondering that too. Like on their page it says they review results and “continue until the program is full” which makes it seem like they have some form of list, wish we could know more.
  10. Yes last year for York 2 year I didn’t hear anything until June 15th, when they told me that I didn’t receive an offer of admission. So hoping it’s not like that again!
  11. That happened to me last year as well, until like June 15! yes I’ll also be hoping that you receive good news from U of T. As someone who has received numerous rejections in the times i’ve applied I feel you on another level.
  12. Oyy, trying to stay positive but like yikes! how are they supposed to sift through almost 500 applicants and choose who is ‘most qualified’. Starting to get frustrated at this whole process.
  13. Oh man, as someone who applied to York 2-year, that is ROUGH with a capital R !
  14. agreed! I was on waitlist last year and the idea of being on it again, and not being able to really create a concrete plan for work/life for the upcoming year, is daunting!
  15. Where have you decided to go instead of uWindsor?
  16. I feel you on another level, I’ve been checking between here and acorn and SGS today. Being at home, constantly in front of my computer, makes it even harder to resist checking.
  17. I’m really really hoping so!!!! Definitely hoping we receive some decisions ASAP.
  18. Right! I was (obsessively) checking my email throughout the spring and summer months. Hard to know what next steps to take/whether to start looking for full time jobs when you could receive a spot at any point up to September. Good luck as well
  19. agh I haven’t heard back yet. I applied to the two year MSW last year and was waitlisted. I have applied again this round and the anticipation has been building up! Hope to hear soon!
  20. hello Carleton 2-year people: how long do you have to make a decision to accept or decline offers of admission?
  21. Hello lovely people ? I feel the waiting game struggle... I applied last year to two-year MSW programs at various schools with no luck of getting off any waitlist. I applied again this year and am actually on the waitlist for Carleton University’s two-year MSW, which I’m feeling hopeful about since I hadn’t previously applied to that school . To anyone who received an offer of admission for the Carleton two-year MSW: I’m wondering if you could share how long you have to make a decision to accept or decline. Thanks! Sincerely, a worried gal?
