@Starpants Thank you so much for saying this - any more insight you could share about working for that agency?? I feel like it's good for us to know what we're getting into in pursuing this - I once heard that the most you can make from getting a play on Broadway is $10,000.... I know that's why a lot of us are looking in to tv/screenwriting as well, but would love to hear whatever you are willing to dish!

Hey everyone! I just had my interview with Northwestern so thought I'd give everyone else a heads up about what to expect! It was just the four core faculty members, they were super friendly and chill and had all read my sample and essay. They asked about how I think about myself as a writer, how I'd work in a cohort/give feedback, and what kind of shows/plays/movies I've seen that I liked or disliked based on how I see myself as an artist. I asked them two questions and that was it! It was about 20 minutes. Good luck everyone!!!

Happy almost new year everyone! I have a question about the Northwestern application. Does anyone have any insight on what they are looking for in the one-page proposal? Like a beat sheet, a paragraph of exposition, script sample, etc? It seems so vague I'm unsure how to organize my ideas. Thank you!!
