Does anyone have insight into the MPH at Mac vs Queen's? Just got an offer for Queen's and feeling super grateful but conflicted now... Both are 16-month programs with practicum; Queen's seems to have more elective options on their website but Mac has the option of replacing a couple electives with an additional part-time practicum; and location is different of course which could mean varying availability of practicums. If anyone has any further insight, I'd really appreciate it!!

Congrats to everyone who's heard good news today and best of luck to those who are still waiting! I'm wondering if anyone here has also applied for OGS? Are we expected to accept an offer before knowing whether or not we were selected for a scholarship? I'd be happy to go to any of the schools that I applied/got accepted to and my expectations aren't high anyways, but ngl I'd be pretty gutted if I found out I could've gotten financial support at another school. Wish they notified at the same time as the offer of admission ?

I haven't heard anything yet either! For those who have response deadlines coming up but are waiting for other schools that are releasing offers/rejections after this date, do you know if it's possible to defer our decision or if we'd have to accept and pay a deposit in the meantime?

Thank you!! I'm a domestic applicant, science background, 3.93 cGPA. I had a few leadership roles throughout undergrad and several experiences in community outreach and advocacy working with marginalized groups since high school. Not much directly in public health, but some experiences were naturally tied to the social determinants of health which I tried to highlight in my LOI. Did a bit of research as well with 1 pub. Got an offer from McMaster earlier this week and waiting to hear from Queen's and UofT (Health Promo)! Wanted to ask if anyone else who got a Mac offer has their application status still listed as pending with no response due date? I'm not sure where to access the "online response form" noted in the email. Thanks in advance!
