  1. okay, so am i right in understanding that some people in the 2-year track have received welcome packets, done pre-orientation and are able to see the class enrollment (though not actually enroll in classes yet), but not all people in the 2-year track have? i emailed some folks at the enrollment office just now to inquire, but i want to be sure i'm not wildly off-base or missing something major.
  2. hello rachel! yes, i was the brit/britney in that tuesday 1PM interview! lol. congrats on your acceptance! i'm in the same boat re: the out-of/in-state situation. what did they say in regards to scholarship, if you don't mind my asking? have you chosen to accept? remind me, did you apply for the 2 yr full-time track?
  3. so i don't think that you should be too concerned about this - during my interview session (last tuesday 3/23), the person who conducted our interview said we shouldn't even expect to hear back until next week. you're still within that timeframe!
  4. has anyone who has been accepted received a financial aid package yet, what was the timeframe on that like?
  5. i'm tossing around the idea of a weekend job myself... i think it will depend on whether i can afford to live on the financial aid package from the university. i spoke to someone who is a current student in the program while i was working on my application, and she said that she and most of her fellow students have some kind of a job (for her it's tutoring one girl on the weekend). i might try to do some freelance transcribing, but nothing with too much of a time commitment. i think it's about whether weighing the money you'll get from a part-time job is worth the loss of time for studying and recuperation/leisure. as for housing, i'll be living off campus, sorry i can't be of more help there!
  6. i got accepted!! I didn't expect to find out until next week, but I just received my email this morning
  7. Also... I guess the thing is, since all/most of the interviews are in a group format, they still have to be prepared to interview multiple people in order to expedite your process. ? So who knows how fast they can actually move.
  8. so I'll say, I've fully had my interview and I'm still in "submitted". My status never changed to "interview pending" or anything like that, so I'm not sure that I'd necessarily be depending on the status to change in order to elucidate anything. Have you chatted them today yet?
  9. Congratulations!
  10. Agreed! No harm in reaching out.
  11. Completed my interview today and did the writing section shortly afterwards. We'll see what happens! ?
  12. Hey y'all. Thanks for all of the contributions to this thread re: application & interview details. My interview is on Tuesday and I'm buzzing about it (nervously, excitedly). For some context, here's my timeline: Application submitted on 1/28, marked as completed on 2/11, final letter of reference submitted by 2/28, invited to interview on 3/12. Dates were sold out on 3/12, so I reached out to admissions and was told that I would be able to schedule on 3/15 - I did. Interview is on 3/23.
