I'm disappointed that they never got back to me. Obviously I'm not going to be accepted but im surprised that that September is in 2 days and they have yet to say anything. Such is this current generation I guess.

2 weeks until school starts and I still haven't heard back from Western. It just says "applied". Insane...
-
If you don't mind, let me know what they tell you.
-
Is anyone else still waiting on results for Western's waitlist?
-
They notified you yesterday?
-
No, I haven't heard anything yet.
-
Rejected from QueensU mph just now ?
-
Well that i an happy to hear!
-
Wow I'm so sorry to hear. It looks like they are making their move. I hope I don't get one too. When did you apply btw? Do you mind sharing your stats? And are you international or domestic?
-
You didn't write anything
-
I still haven't heard back from Queens. Has anyone heard back from Lakehead?
-
Well I never recieved any email about being waitlisted. In fact I had applied early only a few days after applications opened and all it still says is that I applied. It was my first application to grad school this year.
-
Still waiting on Queens
-
It could be that they didn't like your letter of intent and/or your references. Or perhaps your stats course wasn't to their liking. You should go over these things with someone you trust to see what they think. Sometimes it could even be where you're from. Like maybe they already accepted too many from your area.

No, I went online through the portal to check for it.

I was rejected from UWaterloo MPH program.??
-
I'm also still waiting to hear back from them.
-
I'm so sorry to hear. What other universities did you apply to? Also would you mind sharing your stats?
-
Is that for queens?

Its challenging to get a Public Health job with an undergraduate degree (especially in the pandemic) unless the undergrad is in something tangible like nursing or computer science but from what others have told me, experience will always go a long way in getting you into grad school. You may need yo volunteer if you can't get your foot in the door.
-
Anything more from Lakehead, UWaterloo, or Queens?
-
Wow that is terrible. I hope you can get one or the other but always remember for the future. Always pick a job before school. You can always try to defer school to the next year but the experience of a job is priceless.

Has anyone heard from Lakehead?
-
I applied to health promotion. High B overall average. Some disease prevention and health promotion related experience. My undergrad was Public Health.

I also got the same email. Also I got rejected from UofT but I kind of expected it. Given the number of applicants this year at other programs, UofT must be ridiculous. And how do you compete when many people applying already have PhDs and like a decade or more of experience.
