Columbia is ridiculously slow. NYU already sent me emails about registering for classes and assigned me an advisor!

For those that received your acceptance from Columbia. Did Columbia send out their decision in the evening/night or earlier in the day?

I haven't heard anything yet from them and it's disheartening that it's taking them this long. It has been almost 3 months. NYU received a 120K applications school wide and they can make a decision in a timely fashion. Columbia receives far less and it takes longer. A friend of mine that went to Columbia said he received his decision in June.

Congratulations, so happy for you. I also applied to Columbia on Feb 15 and confirmation was Feb. 24. When did you receive your confirmation and what time did they send out the notification that your status was updated. Just wondering cause I am anxious lol

It is very much so discouraging. I guess they do look at every applications and debate about it!

Today they informed me of that. I think they are just telling people 2 weeks every time you reach out lol

Columbia said 2 more weeks for me and I applied on Feb 15.

Yes hopefully, I am going to ask NYU for a deposit extension tomorrow.

Today is Ivy Day. Does that include graduate admissions or only undergraduate?
