Just went back through some emails/portals/letters to try and organize all of the dates/times/deadlines...lol.
Here's what I've got:
McMaster -offer expires 11:59pm EST on April 15th plus $500 deposit by July 15th (as seen in email containing offer of admission letter)
Western - offer expires 11:59pm EST on April 16th plus $500 deposit due by June 1st (as seen in offer of admission letter)
McGill -accept by April 15th with $500 deposit due by April 15 as well (as seen in offer of acceptance)
Alberta - offer expires April 15th, but I can't find a time or deposit info (as seen on GSMS portal)
Unfortunately I can't speak to UBC, Toronto, Dal, or the French schools, but if anyone else knows and wants to jump in here it might be useful! I'm also not 100% sure what they mean by "due by.." like McGill says, either, whether it means before tomorrow or sometime during tomorrow. I'm planning on accepting my offer sometime today, just to be safe.
Also is anyone able to confirm that there's no deposit for UAlberta? I'm worried I'm missing something.
There is no deposit for UAlberta. I just confirmed with a current student in the program!?

Is anyone else still waiting on their official U of A letter?
Yeah I am ugh!! I’m thinking they’re behind a bit, plus with sending out offer letters in March, the individuals who got offers probably know if they will accept or decline now that all schools have sent out offers. So I’m thinking they are not super rushed to get official letters out. In their minds 24 hours is enough lol, so I’m assuming we will get them before the 14th.

How would you calculate this?
I used the university’s undergrad GPA calculation, I found it on this page https://www.ualberta.ca/registrar/examinations/assessment-and-grading/grading-system-explained.html
Then once I had all my prereqs converted to their grading scale I just found the average of them.

2022 program applicant here, just wondering if anybody accepted to U of A had a B- or lower in any of the prerequisites? Just wondering about the need to re-take courses.
Hey! I had a C+ in phonetics from my second year and still got accepted. It was my only prereq below a B+. I think as long as your prereqs average out to be above a 3.5 you’re good (that’s what their website FAQs say atleast).

Hi! I haven't accepted the offer yet, but I'm like 90% sure I'll be attending UofA. I'd be willing to make the Facebook group if that's okay with you all? If something happens and I don't end up accepting my UofA offer, I'll be sure to pass the admin privileges (if there are any) off to someone else.
Does this sound okay for those of you interested in a Facebook group for UofA?
Works for me!

Does anyone know if a Facebook group has been made for U of A?
I haven’t seen one, you could create one and share the link here for everyone if no one has yet!

Has anyone received heir formal letter from UA/had their portal updated yet? Just curious
I haven’t yet! Vicki said it could take up to 2 weeks, so I am assuming we should have a portal update by Friday the 9th or Monday the 12th because of this long weekend.

Did anyone get any acceptances with a subGPA under 3.8?

I believe some people do. I know a couple people who have accepted at Alberta while being on a waitlist of their first choice school, then when they got off the waitlist at their first choice they left Alberta and a spot opened up. I think this is how some people get off the waitlist in July.
