Does anyone know how likely it is for people to get off the waitlist for uoft it seems really hard to lol

Ya I am definitely loosing hope now ? it seems like most letters already received their acceptances for uoft 2 years

Does uoft really do all acceptances in one day? One of my friend said it’s rolling acceptances. I hope there is still hope

I honestly don’t understand how this last name based admissions work. Do they even give a fair chance to all alphabets? Lol honestly same.

Is anyone hearing any acceptance news from the 2 year MSW program at uoft? The wait is driving me insane. Would they send us a notification when our status changes? Also do they do results on last name basis? Any information will be helpful!

Thankfully I did include some lived experiences but again I don’t feel I included nearly enough with the word limit ?. But it’s too late to change anything now so just praying everything goes well. Hey everyone, new to this forum. I was just looking forward to chat with any uoft 2 year applicants. I am super nervous about applications lol! Does past applicants have any idea what uoft prioritize on? Do they came about GPA or more experience? I am worried if UOFT will take into consideration the cumulative GPA instead of just the last year. I really did not do too well on the first two years but managed to do fairly well in the last two years. Really hoping that does not affect my application too badly. On terms of experience, I have about 1500+hours of relevant experience working in homeless shelters and with marginalized communities. I would be happy to hear about some of y’all’s experiences and concerns! Just trying to get rid of this jittery feeling inside lmao

Hey, guys this might be a stupid question, but what would you say is the easiest MSW program to get into in canada? My first choice when I apply will be UofT but I really want backup options so I am not too disappointed if I get rejected from UofT

Any Canadian students that applied to Med counselling psychology at OISE, can you please private message me or reply here. I desperately have some specific questions that I need advice on since I am planning to apply next year.

If you don't mind me asking, how much experience did you have in the field? And what were some of your experiences? I am planning to apply this coming fall and need any information I can get. Also are you aware if they look at grades from all four years or just the last year?

For those applying to MEd in counselling psychology at uoft, can you please give me an idea on what is a competitive application. I have A- GPA in my last two years. Unfortunately, my first two years were really bad. My prof scared me more by saying the acceptance was people with a 3.75 cumulative GPA which I definitely do not have. I am very scared on weather I should even apply to this program this coming fall.

Also, can anyone advice me on easier and less competitive MSW programs.. I want a few back ups. Bcz UofT is notorious for rejections in the MSW program
