Seems like Waterloo woke up again- I have just been waitlisted. I already accepted elsewhere though, so it'll free up a extra spot.
-
I made a FB group for incoming Lakehead MPH people so we can link up https://www.facebook.com/groups/1172916810041326/

Just got into Lakehead's MPH
-
Me again- lakehead switched to "decision pending" what does that mean????
-
Thanks so much!! Youre the first person I have heard gotten admitted, so in due time all the best!
-
Talk about timing, congrats ! Was it to your email or just the status change? Guess any time now...
-
Anyone have any information about Lakehead MPH( general or epi for online- not nursing)?
-
I have heard a few people get rejected on friday...so maybe something this week?
-
Can I ask what certificate program you took at TMU?
-
Any word from UVIC? or Lakehead online? Pretty radio silent.
-
Waitlisted at Brock! I'm personally surprised I am even waitlisted lol Still waiting on uvic, waterloo and lakehead.
-
Im sorry to hear... were you specialized full time or part time?
-
Nothing as of yet...im guessing radio silence is a good thing...

Nothing on my end yet either. I heard Lakehead does take people in like mid march- late march. I guess it a waiting game now if anything. I am still under department review for all the programs I have applied to. I see waterloo is sending out acceptances, so im assuming im down the list somewhere, no rejection yet is good news I guess as I heard of someone being rejected from Loo.

Mine is still "under department review"

Someone in this thread got a rejection email near mid/end feb for SFU. Keep an eye out.

Hey all, jumping in on the train. I applied to Brock, Lakehead, Uvic and Waterloo, all Online as I want continue working while I pursue my masters. I was waitlisted in 2021, decided to take some time and reapply. Probably was beneficial as I gained so much more experience and have an idea of the route I want to go now. Stats: 2 undergrad degrees one in Bio/psych, the other in public health (~3.7) Worked in public health last 3 years. Held a variety of leadership positions in regards to clubs on campus, have volunteered in the hospital for a few years. Have 2 certifications in relation to public health (currently working towards my CIC). Have done research during my undergrad, directed and published a paper, and did field work for another one. I am also an active career mentor with my university. Fingers crossed this round works!

So, another Thursday come and gone- Still shows application for Lakehead and Waterloo. I have a licensing exam on Wednesday, I was hoping to do it without the stress of this looming over my head ?
-
Guess no news is good news still but I am also a ball of anxiety.
-
Anyone else still waiting on Waterloo and Lakehead? Im still in the application phase, and I see there has been some rejections already so....

An update on Lakehead- Someone posted on the Lakehead Reddit that they got a rejection letter last week. It seems Lakehead is starting to make their move.
-
I already know I have my career in public health set. Im doing this MPH for more managerial opportunities or flexibility in what I can do, perhaps even work in NGOs. I am working on my Public health inspector certification and my CIC certification right now so regardless of practicum or not, I know I have a spot at HUs or other opportunities.

Long time lurker going insane- I only applied to Lakehead and Waterloo as I am working PH and can really only do distance- Mine still says application LMAO HALP
