Hi, fitto. Answering your question:
I applied for the Study Scholarship - Postgraduate Studies in the Field of Architecture and last month received the selection results saying that I was selected.
My average grade is 8,75/10 (which I think it's a B for the US). I also sent for the application a document stating my class ranking, which is 2nd place out of 40 students.
I'm an architect and urban planner who graduated from a respected university in Brazil. I come from a tough background and the previous scholarships were crucial to my educational path. During grad, I did an exchange programme in France, co-founded a feminist collective, participated in academic research, published articles at national and international scale, and my final thesis received a 10, highest grade here. I also worked as an intern at an architecture office specialised in high-complexity projects, which hired me after graduation. Parallel to my work, I volunteered at the Architecture Council and, after that, at a social impact startup, in which I was promoted to Creative Director, my last working position. I also have advanced certificates in English, Spanish and French.
Important to mention that I'm 29. If you're younger, avoid unfair comparisons. Also, this was my 2nd time applying for the scholarship. If you know that this is what you really want but received a rejection, don't give up - it's really worth it. Good luck to you all! ♥
