Congratulations!! Tulane seems like a good program. Did you have to interview?

That would be interesting if they do decide to add a SW license at a doctoral level. It would make social work more competitive with other fields but could create barriers in the field too.

I think more programs will be established to meet the demand. Especially, with since they are looking at possible accreditation for DSW programs in the future.

I live in California and we don’t really have a lot of DSW options outside of USC. I know Cal Baptist has a new program as well.

I didn’t get into Alabama. I am waiting on Simmons. Was there an interview for Buffalo?

Yes, it appears that is extremely competitive this year ?. I applied to Penn, Alabama, and Simmons.

That's wonderful! I know someone who was just accepted to USC's program and she is macro focused at well.

I know Simmons is still accepting applications for the September start date. My friend goes there and really likes the program.

Thank you! Yes, I applied to Alabama but was not accepted. I also applied to Simmons. I interviewed on 4/2 and I think it went well. I was told during the interview that decisions would be made closer to the end of the month. It seems like they have done a lot of interviews. Did you apply to other programs? I will keep you posted if I hear anything

Hello everyone! I am happy that I found this forum. I applied to UPENN as well. I have not gotten a call or other communication either way. I emailed them for an update last Thursday but I have not gotten a response to that email either..
