Hello, I went to CSUSB for undergrad in social work and Loma Linda for grad. Both programs are good but LLU is more clinical. At Loma Linda you will have smaller classes if that matters. I am not SDA either. Are you open to taking religion classes? I feel like Loma Linda really prepared me for my career as a psychiatric social worker.

I honestly think it depends on the program. Some programs only require 2 years post MSW experience.

It seems like there might have been miscommunication. Last Thursday was the date they were going to meet but notifications would not be made until 3-4 business days later. But a few hours later acceptance calls went out. I cannot call it!

That work is much needed. If you can navigate the politics maybe you can develop a pilot program or start a small group and see how it goes.

Have you though about expanding what you can do with your DSW outside of prison as we often wear multiple hats (leadership, teaching, private practice)?

It does seem like a long time since calls were made last week. It was SP2 admissions.

I got a response back from admissions today and they said they are hoping to have decisions released in the next two weeks. Maybe they are still deciding on the cohort ?.
