Hi everyone, this is probably a longshot but I might as well try. I am applying to the MSWWP Windsor Jan 2023 start, but their website where I would download my documentation for completing the application is currently not working. I was wondering if anyone who has applied recently could possibly send me a blank copy of the referees form and the letter for employer agreeing with your application form? It would be appreciated beyond what words can say. thank you

@DD2021 did they offer you any spots for the January start? I have heard of them doing that in the past

@mswapplicantt I am hoping that they send things out over this upcoming week. Last year they heard on the first Friday of March!

after contacting the MSWWP program regarding feedback about my application specifically, they offered the following: The top reasons applicants are not admitted include: Grade point average does not meet the requirement Personal statement was not strong Work experience was less than required or not related to the field References chosen were unable to speak to applicant’s potential for leadership in Social Work I am honestly hoping to get into kings or Laurier at this point, as I have only applied to the 3 programs.

@Geralt No, I applied to the advanced standing stream. the information they provided for the non admission was word for word: "the program is very competitive and a limited number of qualified applicants are admitted each year." I thought that my stats and supplemental questions would have made me a competitive applicant but I guess not. I am hoping to maybe contact the school to see if I can receive anymore feedback about my application specifically.

Just to update everyone, I heard back from Mswwp today. Unfortunately I didn’t receive the acceptance that I was hoping to. Over the past few hours I have been stressing about it, as I thought I stood a chance this year. for my stats: I had an 85 GPA and 3000 hours of experience.

no word for anyone from Windsors mswwp program yet eh?

@makttrrr I am wondering if they have made a decision then, the status date changing seems to be the indicator that folk's applications either have a decision or they have communicated to you in some way. Did you check all of your email inboxes?

I was reading the forums for last year and someone who applied the second week of December heard back on the 27th of January! So who knows! I wish you the best of luck, please update me if you receive any word!! @MLMSW2022

Oh goodness I feel you! All of my paperwork and references were submitted by Nov 21! So we are in similar boats. I hope that we hear back soon @mlmsw2022

Hi there, I am glad to hear that my LORIS is not the only one to disappear. I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that all documentation was to be handed in as of yesterday? If not, then maybe the system is overwhelmed or in a glitch. I know that LORIS stated that the university shuts down from the 23rd-jan 3rd so maybe an early closing? I doubt that they'd close this early, but you never know.

Submitted my paperwork for ULaurier today! I am just waiting on my references now. Fingers crossed for everyone. now to the waiting game

I wonder why too. are less people aware of the existence of this forum or are less people applying?
