  1. Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the resume writing. I am going to apply for PhD in literature field this year. I worked as a translator and translated a book from English to another language for a publishing house. This year my translation was officially published. My question right now is how/where I should list this translation work. I searched online and found that many people think it cannot be listed under the "Publication" column since the translator is not equal to the author. I think this concern makes sense to me but then I have no idea how I should list it. Besides, I am wondering whether I need to add some introductory words to the book (eg. what the book is about) while listing it in my resume. My concern is that I actually do not have other publication (such as articles) so I guess elaborating a little on it might be a way to show my ability in languages and knowledge in humanities. But I know that many people say an academic resume should be brief. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks ahead
