  1. Have any of you previously held a CGS-D and then were awarded Vanier? Were you able to stop the CGS-D and then start the Vanier? I see on eligibility it says this: not hold, or have held, a doctoral-level scholarship from CIHR, NSERC or SSHRC to undertake or complete a doctoral program. Does this mean if we were awarded CGS-D when entering our first year of the PhD program we cannot be eligible for Vanier in the future - or is this more a stop the CGS-D and start the Vanier as they cannot be concurrent?
  2. I'm so shocked this is still going on and that it wasn't just all of SSHRC but only a sub-portion that has yet to find out!! I'd be losing my mind, I'm sorry to hear you are all still waiting and I hope you find out soon
  3. CIHR came - I got it!! AAHH shockeD!!
  4. Nope. It still says "peer review" for my app too, hopefully soon given the anticipated date of notification was yesterday
  5. CIHR "anticipated" date was April 25 - and we see how that has gone lol. Vanier was the same, "anticipated" for the 11th and then was released on the 12th. Hoping everyone hears soon. Looks like the posts for NSERC have stopped so maybe they can move onto the other councils now!
  6. So it appears that the NSERC emails went out - there was a huge influx of posting as the emails were being received last night which has markedly slowed down. Is anyone from NSERC still waiting or can we safely assume they've received their letters and it is time to move onto CIHR and SSHRC? Please?? Outside of one poster on here who knows someone from CIHR who has recevied an update, I haven't seen anyone post or update about CIHR results on any forum. I am wondering if that update was a result of a supervisor informing their student like we saw earlier with the NSERC results? Really hoping to hear soon and that we'll see another influx of posters indicating emails received!
  7. Same here, and same with a friend also waiting on CIHR - haven't seen anyone post re: CIHR notice anywhere yet outside of the comment above - maybe it will come soon then?
  8. the hope I felt momentarily that quickly went away lol come on CIHR tell usssss
  9. Wow! Congrats to those who have been awarded! How many committees are there in NSERC???? I'm in CIHR and I think there are like...two.
  10. LMAO!! OMG, I have found my people.
  11. Congrats! Safe to assume you are an NSERC CGS-D winner?
  12. Congrats! It's nice to see that there are two now! Hopefully, the other tri-council agencies feel similarly about releasing results today lol
  13. boooo. At this point I just want to know, I don't even care if I've won I want to be done this part lol
  14. ahhhh man. Nothing.
  15. The absolute FRENZY of knowing that someone out there knows their results has created hahahah. Good luck to you all today! May we be free of this anxiety soon!
  16. you are the best! Thank you! No updates on mine either, but glad to hear we don't have to create a new account to go access results when they are ready!
  17. Fair! Also, same! hahaha.
  18. Assuming this is for NSERC only? Any previous applicants - can you tell us if each CIHR and SSHRC go through this extranet link too? I just have the research net link I used to make my CIHR application
  19. ahhhh. Do you think it'll come out right at 12 EST then?? That is....in 45 minutes??!!
  20. AHH man hopefully all the agencies release their info now! Congrats to the NSERC award winner!
  21. So they wouldn't know *this far in advance then, would they? It sounds like same day then? So they don't yet know?
  22. Is there an official time it goes live? I know CGS-M was 6 AM MST, so just wondering when I can start by manic refreshing lol
  23. well....I shall not book anything important for Tuesday and assume I'll be entirely unable to focus on anything hahah
  24. TRUTH! I wish I had your self-control for daily checks lol! We will be put out of our misery soon!
