I don’t think that refers to the MEd program! It may be to other programs (e.g, clinical, developmental, etc) . I read on the thread that someone contacted them and asked them about the MEd counselling program and they told them results will be sent in April/May Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

Do you mind me asking if you are now in an MSW program now? Does anyone know any MSW programs that are online for students who have a non-social bachelors degree? -

Hey, I called them in the beginning of March and that’s the exact same thing they told me.. I’m guessing there has been no developments and they are probably aiming for end of April/beginning of May since they told u this again last week. -

I meant the SGS website! Also, for ACORN, it is case sensitive so if your username has a capital letter it won’t recognize it -

Good morning all! Not trying to be negative, but every Monday I hope to see SOMETHING change on the portal for the UofT MED Counselling & Psychotherapy application. I don’t know how much more waiting I can handle. Literally every other school in Canada has already given results except the OISE program. -

Hey! Thanks for bringing this up. I went on Athabasca’s website and it says you can finish the course in as little as 3.5 years, so that’s almost 4 years of completing a Masters degree. I feel it is too long, as you can legit complete 2 masters within this time frame. -

I know what you mean. It’s actually so difficult to wait for this long. People have heard by January/February and here we are still waiting. For me, the OISE MEd counselling & psychotherapy program was THE only program I applied to (it is my dream program), so having to wait constantly for this is just so so difficult. -

Mine still says submitted. I emailed them and they said they havent made decisions yet. They are most likely to send out decisions in April -
I received an email today from OISE and they said they still have not made decisions and we will most likely hear back in April. Although they told me that, I can’t stop checking. I guess it has become a habit.

I couldn’t agree more! i dont think its the same committee that makes the final decisions for all OISE programs! I think its the coordinators or the profs IN that program that end up making the decision ( speculating here) -

For anyone who applied to the OISE program, I just called the admissions office and they told me that they have NOT made any decisions about applications yet and that they will be making decisions and sending them out in the next couple of weeks. very unfortunate since the waiting already feels like forever. -
Ohhh makes sense. Hopefully we’ll hear back soon. I wonder if they send the acceptances all at once (same day) or do it periodically
-
Also Did u hear back from the admissions office?
-
Ohhhh how do u know they admit people last Friday? Did u see people posting in any of the forums?

Yes, thanks! I’ve heard of that too but I wonder what the reputation on these private schools are? I know they are accredited by CRPO but I wonder how they may look for hiring managers. -

Thanks for the tip! I checked mine and balance says 0. Does this mean I am not likely to be accepted? -

This is a random question, but I am just planning ahead incase I don’t get accepted. Does anyone know any online MA counselling programs (other than Yorkville and Adler)? I am stuck in Toronto and can’t relocate so I can only apply to OISE. -
Hi, I still haven’t heard back yet. I don’t think they sent out results yet. I emailed Todd (program coordinator) and waiting to hear back from him.
