    No problem! Last year, I did not receive an email at all. I checked my portal and found the update there! It was really strange, because everyone else received emails but I never did, I even checked my spam, etc. So yes, it is is a possibility

    Hey thanks for the update. From what I have heard, usually clinical programs release results much earlier than the counselling program. I applied to the counselling at UofT last year and I remember most programs released results and counselling was the last. Last year I heard back in April.

    Oh my, so sorry to hear about this. I can’t image how discourgaged you are feeling. Did you apply this year and also you got rejected? I know it’s so difficult and sometimes feel unfair as you see others get accepted who may not have as much experience.

    Thanks for creating this! I applied last year and didn’t get in so this is my second year applying. I received the decision last year around May, so definitely know the waiting game is so hard.

    Hello! I applied to this program as well for the September start (also non BSW)! Oh, my I can see your dedication!! Crossing fingers for you this round!! I know it’s a great program as it allows students to work while completing it since it is online. Personally, I think I really messed up on the “critical social issue” essay that they required us to write, so I highly doubt I am gonna get in. I wrote it very much last minute and didn’t do my best in that part!! I am still antsy about getting results though!!

    Hey everyone just wanted to share that I just received an interview invite for Mcmaster’s psychotherapy program! Feeling so nervous. I am trying not to get ahead of myself as I know many people will be interviewed and only a few will end up being offered a position in the program. for those who got rejected, so sorry to hear that. i was in your place last year and I got rejected. I still dont know if i will get in. This is my second year applying. I know it can feel so discouraging at times, i know at times i felt like giving up. but just remember your end goal and try again and again. ❤️atleast that is what I will be doing if i dont get in this year too

    Hey everyone Last year I applied to the MEd Counselling & Psychotherapy at UofT and was rejected. This year, I applied to the MED UofT program again, but also considered social work programs. I applied to York MSW, UofT MSW and Laurier’s Regular track MSW. I also applied to Mcmaster psychotherapy program. Hoping to at least get into one of those programs. I heard back from UofT in May last year, which was super daunting. I hope this year they don’t take as long.

    Congrats! I applied or the Laurier MSW regular track part time fall start. I was wondering how you were notified of your acceptance decision? Did you receive an email or did it you get notified on LORIS?

    Yes same here, I am only applying to the OISE MED in counselling, as I also myself cannot relocate. I thought about applying to Guelph but the commute would be too much.

    HIi there! I Remember you from last year’s post! Nice to see you again we’re going through this journey together again. I am applying to exactly the same programs as you, in addition to the Windsor MSW online program. I don’t think I am going to apply to Adler or Yorkville yet, because of how expensive it is. Last year I only applied to the MeD program (it is my top program) and same as you, I wasn’t really aware of the MSW route that much. Has anyone started working on statements and stuff?

    Thanks for creating this! I remember you from last years forum This is my second time applying, this time I will apply to MSW programs as well (last time I only applied to the OISE counselling program). Has anyone started working on their letters of intent?

    Update: I just checked my SGS and saw I was rejected as this was the only program I applied to. I just wish there was a way to get feedback on my application from them.. Feeling totally crushed… good luck to everyone!

    Omg he told me he cant even look if there is a decision that has been made lol- I hope for some good news for the both of us. I wish I asked how many applicants they are taking

    Update: I just got off the phone with OISE, they said they are sending admissions on a rolling basis and they are sending out accpetances every few days. He said most likely decisions have been made but most likely are not sent out yet. (I’m not sure why? I guess techn stuff). He also told me that we should hear by end of next week, but maximum end of the month.
