Hi guys. Just heard from Bioinformatics@UCLA. Unfortunately they claimed they have sent all invitations, which I didn't get. They said I am put on the waiting list but I think it is a soft rejection since no official rejections have been heard from them according to my knowledge. Hope the information helps and wish you a nice week to come.

Hi. Would you mind explaining the common winter break schedule in US? I am international and obviously we do not take breaks like the states. Good luck for the second batch!

You are not alone. 9 of my 10 applications remain silent and I do know somebody else with an empty inbox for now. It's not time to give up now, for no clear rejections have been received. (I know people applying for Molecular and Cell Biology who has already received multiple Rs.) All we can do now is to wait anyway.

Hi guys. Just got interview from GGD@Cornell, the first email out of my 10 applications. The list of programs I am now waiting: CBM@tri-institutional, CB@UCB, Bioinformatics@BU, BIG@Harvard, CSB@MIT, CB@CMU-Pitts, GCB@Upenn, Bioinformatics@UCLA, BISB@UCSD I know Bioinformatics@UCLA has already sent several invitations. Apart from that, I heard nothing about other programs. Please let me know if you know anything else. Hope the information helpful to you and wish you more interviews before the the Christmas.
