who will be at harvard's gsas admitted student day? excited to link up with others

yeah- strange-- princeton portal is not updated nor did i receive an email in my spam or inbox. didn't get an interview so anticipating rejection but would like to know sooner!

for those who received word from princeton-- was it through portal or email? have received neither

stanford rejections were released feb 3rd last year- at least mine was. i emailed my POI this year and she said interviews are not the norm- but it seems a number of folks received interview requests. assuming we'll hear back incredibly soon

south asianist- rejection from berkeley and my app moved from history to religious studies at yale.

hi congrats again to all the acceptances at berkeley- was anyone accepted in the south asian track? just trying to get a feel for those of us who interviewed but havent heard back yet

as my app was forwarded for religious studies for yale-- feeling a little uneasy about it as i centered my application towards the history department and did not really mention religious studies professors. why would a RGS professor advocate for me if i said the best fits for me are in the history department?

@Imperator Totius Hispaniaewow that's wild- it seems many programs are taking the covid hit and running with it in terms of reduction in admission-- how unfortunate. i will say my yale POI mentioned admissions as normal this year- but who knows what that means

problem is that two history professors from yale cosigned my project (one uncannily enthusiastically) whereas none responded from religious studies- im not opposed but with the information i have now i'd rather it be in history? i'm also puzzled because why would the professors (after i fleshed out my project to them) then suddenly decide i should not be in history after urging me to apply to history?

just received an email asking if my application can be transferred to the religious studies department at yale- what happens if i say no?

has anyone received word from yale for an interview yet?

for those who had their interview already this week- any help would be lovely.
