I called the department today and was told that some decisions have been released and that all decisions should be released by Monday at the latest. ?

Hmm yeah I don't know then. My only thought is the Berkeley housing crisis might be impacting how many students they can admit.

Still nothing on my end. UCLA came out this past Friday and traditionally Berkeley follows suit by a week so I'm thinking this Friday?! I can't imagine that it'll be any later than that.

Congrats! Same here, I got the admitted email from UCLA and clarified with them that I was accepted since I haven't gotten the official letter lol. Nothing from Columbia yet though.

Anybody here hear back from UCLA, Berkeley, or Columbia?? ? I'm guessing its a rejection for me but I just want to know.

Sigh. Well its Friday afternoon and we definitely aren't going to hear till after this long weekend. Do you have any idea whether they require interviews?

Hi! Wanted to bump this... have you heard at all from UCLA or UC Berkeley?? I've heard from most programs and have some solid acceptances, but its killing me to wait for these two...

I have no idea. Could you share that post/do you know what concentration they chose? I applied to critical studies of race, class and gender.

I don't think silence means rejection. From my experience with Berkeley as an institution, they take a while to roll these things out and make decisions. Also, keep in mind that they have a much longer winter break than everyone else. Classes don't resume till end of January so I'm guessing they are still going through apps and filtering....Maybe I'm trying to make myself feel better but just my general hunch!
