Me too, I tend to lose hope once the afternoon hits, but I wonder the same. Will results come at any time? Really, who knows what goes on behind the scenes. Has anyone received the promised email with instructions on how to create an Extranet account? I'm hoping for results any minute, but also don't even have access to the platform yet.

Thank you! That notification would be great, in case results are released staggered again. We shall see. I also hope for news sooner rather than later, but I must admit that hope is dwindling. Cannot help but wonder why results are so delayed, then I remind myself this worry won't help a thing, sometimes delays just happen. For those with existing Extranet accounts, have you seen any changes?

Just checked, I got the same email at 11:40 this morning. It's nice to know the results are coming, can't believe how stressful this week has been and that we have to do it all again next week! Relief is coming, hoping for good results for all.

Thank you for sharing! Sounds like they've decided against sending out a preemptive email this year. Hopefully the results come sooner than later. Today or tomorrow would be wonderful, but I'm trying to come to terms with the fact we may have to wait until Monday. (I really hope not though.) I have also been frustratingly unproductive, despite having a big piece of writing due April 1. It's such a challenge to stop checking email and wondering, dreaming!

Exactly! No one is perfect, but everyone has successes and areas in which they excel. Now the question we're left with is how our successes and weaknesses weigh and compare to others'. Yikes. My project is also one that is really exciting to me. And oh how I would love to learn from my proposed supervisor for 2 years!

Also, thank you for all of the information about how results were uploaded last year. Hopefully they'll be uploaded Wednesday to Friday this year as well. The waiting sure is a challenge!

Thank you! Yes, hopefully we'll hear results sometime next week. I saw on last year's forum that a preemptive email was sent the Friday before results were released. Will be watching my inbox on Friday!

Thanks, Mrazy, for starting this thread. This year is my first applying for a SSHRC postdoc (committee 1). I've felt neutral about the application, until today. Now that it's results month I'm anxious/excited. Even though the chances are slim of actually receiving an acceptance it's hard not to get my hopes up. This month is going to be a challenging one.
