I was admitted to CSUF's Masters's Program, which is like a dream come true.
As a post bacc student, I worked really hard for 2 years to get a good GPA and build my application.
At the beginning of my post bacc, I asked a girl on this forum who got accepted to CSUF's MA program at the time about some information.
I remember telling her I was concerned because my undergrad GPA was not high (only a 3.2). But I wasn't sure if my undergrad GPA would count towards the application process because it was in an unrelated major. I just wanted to ask her for advice.
I remember her tone being full of herself, and she said something like "No offense, but only the ones with good GPAs get in." She said it in a way that was very belittling when all I asked her was information since she had gotten into the program. The entire conversation was very unhelpful and unpleasant. She seemed like the typical white blondie/brunette so full of herself. She discouraged me so much during that time I always felt sad and felt like I wouldn't get in.
Well, guess what! I got into the program with a high post bacc gpa!
With acceptance coming around, she is engraved into my memory lol...
Hope she learned to be more humble
