Does anyone know the ranges of funding RISD gives their students? There is a full ride called the Presidential fellowship but apart from that what is the maximum that I can expect? Any info is helpful!

Sorry forgot to mention, from RISD. I got an email. Not an actual call haha. They just said they're excited to talk to me and sent me a bunch of resources regarding their previous year exhibitions. I don't want to get too excited as I still have to figure out my finances. Depends completely on the amount of scholarship they would offer.

Hey there, I think we are worst critiques of ourselves. Ask your friend not to be very harsh on themselves. I too felt like my interview with MICA didn't go as well as I thought it would. I just received acceptance with $13k scholarship per academic year. Coming from a non-art and design background, I feel extremely happy at where I am right now.

Do the evaluators actually read the SOPs and descriptions for the pieces in the portfolio? I wonder how they evaluate. I had heavy descriptions for my pieces and I feel that might've been a drawback. Any thoughts on this?

Hey, I'm applying for MFA for the first time this year. I applied to RISD illustration MFA. I didn't get an interview call. Can I assume that I'm not going to get admitted?
