  1. List is up! I'm too scared to look for my name, lol
  2. Is the GRFP website getting hugged to death or is it just my Internet? Absolutely nothing is loading for me.
  3. I agree with the general sentiment of what you said, especially since I'm guilty of fanning the flames with regards to wanton speculation on when maintenance will happen, but I think you came across a little too acerbic, especially in calling us "pitiful". Your point regarding the banner is a little strange. The NSF GRFP actually specified, on the program's homepage, that results would be posted by the end of this month (today, actually). Why wouldn't we listen to that and assume that results would be out a little earlier than the solicitation specified? The banner was posted back in mid-February - they had a month and a half to remove it, and they chose to do it essentially at the 11th hour. That's why we're a little miffed. Like others have said, this is a space for discussion on the results, and that will most likely include anxious posts. I do agree that it's not healthy to spend the entire day waiting for results.
  4. The 2021 list is still down and there doesn't seem to be a maintenance notification. Starting to doubt that results will be released tomorrow. This is getting a bit ridiculous.
  5. Check the solicitation for this year, the expected number of awards was raised to 2,500.
  6. This is basically my pet theory. I think that the results are basically ready, but they ran into a technical issue preventing them from securely presenting this year's results, hence why the 2021 results are still down. To me, this might mean that they're using something from the last year's result list to display this year's results. Based on this, I think (hope, really) that it's quite possible for results to be released this Friday, and that they're saying "early April" to cover their bases in case results are released even later.
  7. So, I decided to make a slightly updated version of the spreadsheet shared in last year's and the year before's threads. Each year is a link to the thread for that competition year. Everyone can take a look at the spreadsheet itself here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LaF7o1oBPHAbVkxuHtAH7MeGDs7qsc_xZoB-Kijn4II/edit?usp=sharing
  8. Correct. Everyone should receive an email containing their result, regardless of whether they received an award, honorable mention, or nothing.
  9. Yeah, I'm also not convinced this is it. From what I saw in prior years' threads, usually the maintenance notification for the results is on the GRFP login page and explicitly says that GRFP is down. We figured out that the bottom notification is just weekly maintenance, but I doubt that the top notification is significant. Starting to suspect next Tuesday is the day, tbh.
  10. ...isn't that next Thursday? Assuming that the NSF sticks with Tuesdays/Fridays, we should be fine.
  11. Ah, my apologies. I didn't know that Friday-Saturday maintenance was weekly. Checking FastLane's archives indeed shows that weekly maintenance occurs during those times. I guess there's really no good way to tell that results will come before they're actually meant to come. Let's hope for something good to happen on Monday, then.
  12. I used the Wayback Machine to view last year's archives of nsfgrfp.org and I didn't see a similar announcement saying to expect results at the end of March. Going by what happened last year and the year before (according to last year's thread), there might be maintenance announced tomorrow into Saturday that will signal that results might come out next Monday into Tuesday. Fingers crossed!
  13. A couple of things: First, I noticed that the withdraw application button on FastLane recently disappeared, so I guess we're in the end game now. Also, the award list defaults to 2022. Secondly, does anyone think that results could be released next week? I know that the site says "at the end of March", but I think I'm so impatient that, for me, the end of March includes next week and the week after (doesn't help that last year's results were released early in the second to last week of March). Is everyone interpreting "at the end of March" to mean the last week of March?
