I totally get what you mean! I should note I haven't actually applied to the MFA yet, I'm just beginning to look into the process. I think it might take me a minute to get out of that mindset of "the name matters" from other grad/undergrad endeavors. This was really helpful info. Thanks!

Sorry if this is uncouth, but I'm new to the process. Which is more "prestigious" or would look better in the literary community: Cornell or Syracuse?
