My CIHR Doctoral Award status still says "In Peer Review". I've honestly had a bad experience in my lab and recently decided I will no longer be staying, so I hope I do NOT win this award and it'll go to someone more deserving. I'm just ready to rip off the bandaid at this point!

Hi everyone, I was awarded with OGS, but I'm still on the waitlist for CGSM (CIHR). I'm assuming I'd be removed off the waitlist the moment I accept OGS? I obviously want to see if I get off the waitlist for CGSM, but I'm not sure if it's realistic or even worth it, since I don't even know why someone would decline an incredible scholarship! Appreciate any help - this was my first time applying. Thank you!
