  1. Sorry my bad. It’s the third page which I completely missed. It dos say I can hold it in Canada or Abroad.
  2. On the second page of the offer letter it just says send an email to them with your decision to accept or reject. Nothing about location of tenure. My first institution is international when I applied. It’s not in the terms and conditions right? And yes I received the results today.
  3. Hi, could you share where they tell you that only Canadian institutions are eligible? I just received my result and it’s positive, but I’m not able to find whether I can hold it in an international institution. thanks!
  4. Congrats! From what I remember there is 30% of the awards that are allowed to be held overseas? So anything out of that quota will have to stay in Canada. May I ask when you received the email? Was it an announcement email or did they give you the link to the Extranet?
  5. Well it looks like they secretly moved it from 10th to 11th. I hope they don't do this again on the 11th. The Extranet is different from the online system. You will receive a link to it when the outcome is available to you.
  6. Is the outcome coming up tomorrow? In recent communications with NSERC they use "The notifications of results for the Canada Postdoctoral Research Award (CPRA) program will be available on the NSERC Extranet for applicants on February 10, 2026." as their signiture.
  7. Good luck! It's not a bad thing to be waitlisted - you know you just need to strengthen your application a little bit to get the award next time.
  8. It depends on your actual ranking. You can send NSERC an email and they will tell you your ranking among your committee. If you're 1 or 2 places from the line, you have a pretty good chance of getting it.
  9. I was waitlisted last year and the wording was different. It was saying something like "although your application is considered meritorious, we regret to ..."
  10. SF 194 just received email. Second time applying, got CGSD! Received an email from UofT (last year didn't) this morning saying the following: "The results of the 2023-24 NSERC Doctoral Scholarships (PGSD and CGSD) will soon be released to all applicants via a secure site. Access details will be sent to applicants via separate emails from NSERC. If you do not receive an email from NSERC this week, please contact NSERC to confirm your current email address on file." Based on other DPs I guess it's safe to say if you also received this from UofT SGS you can expect a positive outcome in the Extranet.
  11. Haven't heard anything yet. Although from posts here I noticed in the past years people get off the waitlist as late as Jan next year
  12. Ah ok looks like I'm overthinking it. I'm in 194
  13. hi, I just noticed something weird in the nserc extranet system. They updated my document yesterday at about 3pm, adding a prefix "PGS D" to the result letter name... although the content of the letter remains unfortunate. I might be overthinking but could this mean anything? I'm pretty sure on 26th the document's name was just myname_Notification of results_appnumber_year. I wonder what do you see in the system? Is there a similar update?
  14. That's somewhat comforting! Honestly I didn't think it would be so competitive. Anyways hope you get bumped up! Good luck!
  15. Sorry to hear that. Did your letter explicitly say you are 'waitlisted'? My is saying something like "application was meritous but could not fund due to budgetary constraints.". Wondering if this is a flat rejection or could it be a waitlist
