MA in Theater History! YAAAAAY! Yeah I'm about to crack out the bubbly and spend the rest of the day drunk and sloppily sobbing with joy. I really want to visit! I hope they have an admit weekend. It was my birthday last night, so I decided to sleep in. I woke up with a severe chocolate hangover, and as I normally do, checked my phone for admission emails. I saw one from UC Boulder Admissions and thought that I was dreaming, so I went back to sleep. When I figured it out, I sent out a mass text and started dancing around like a crazy person. This is the best feeling ever. I'm on a high- I'd honestly given up hope! I'm cracking out a bottle of wine for me and my roommate (and probs getting her a massage from our wellness center for putting up with my crazy!) and some treat seed for my conure who seems to be very worried as to why I'm frantically jumping around the room. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way, I have been looking at this thread obsessively for the past couple weeks with absolute jealousy! Yay I can finally stop and develop a healthier habit!

OH MY GOSH VIRIDIANMAMBO! I think we got into the same program! It's my first acceptance too, and I am over the moon. I'd given up hope and started looking for jobs. Did I mention it's my birthday?

One of my religious studies profs mentioned that the admissions committee was convening this past weekend...he said they hadn't sent out and decisions yet, and this is for a top 15 program. Chin up!

YES! I am in the same boat. Every single one of my friends applying to grad school has at least received an interview by now. I applied 11 places and I've gotten one rejection and no other communication. I keep trying to not psych myself out by obsessively checking the results page and seeing if other folks applying to my programs have heard anything, but it's virtually impossible to avoid. What really sucks is that all of my friends now exactly what they're doing after we all graduate. I swear everyone I know has a job or got into med/dental/law school. I'm starting to worry that no news is bad news at this point...someone please disagree with me quick! PLEASE! :/

Nineve16- was that from Northwestern? I was glad that they actually said "Dear_____," and not "Dear applicant." Gotta love the little things.
