I don’t think I can wait weeks tbh - I already have to wait until May to hear back about Wilfrid Laurier and that’s already too much haha. Crossing my fingers and hoping we both get accepted. Good luck!

Mine also still says 'recommended for assessment'! Idk what happened with the other posts, but I saw those ones too. Those posts are initially what made me a bit anxious cause I really wanna know if I'm in or not at this point. I'm trying my best not to continuously check carleton central lol

Did anyone else who applied to Carleton get that mass email they sent saying that all applications have been reviewed and decisions will be released over the next few weeks? Receiving that email has made me way more anxious!

We don’t get notifications as our application goes through the review stages. We’ll get a notification when they’ve made an admission decision. I think maybe we’ll get an email saying that they’ve made a decision and to check Carleton Central? And on their website they say that if you’re accepted you’ll receive an email from the Dean of FGPA

Based on past forums, people started hearing news as early as the week of the 14th (so, next week). Of course, there's no guarantee that'll be the case this year, but I'm hopeful haha. I applied to Carleton as well and have been anxiously waiting!

I’ve applied to this program! WLU only looks at the most recent year of study from what I’ve been told, so if you have good grades in your last year of undergrad you should be fine in that regard I have an A- average in my most recent year of study and over 5k hours of social service experience. It definitely sucks that we have to wait until May to find out if we’re accepted or not, but I’m cautiously optimistic. Good luck!

Hey! There likely won't be any real update regarding admission until some time in late February as the MSW website says though I hope - by some miracle - that we hear back sooner. Good luck! I hope we both get accepted

Most applicants in previous years seem to have heard back from Carleton in mid to late February; so not too long now! My application status has been 'recommended for assessment' since November, and waiting this long has felt torturous lol. I hope you get accepted

Hey y'all! I'm finishing up my BA in Psych at uOttawa and I've applied to the regular track online MSW at Wilfred Laurier and the 2 year MSW at Carleton. My application status at Carleton recently changed to 'recommended for assessment'. Anyone else in the same boat?
