Just got my offer from McGill! Super happy.

Any one applied to Yale and heard anything back yet. I am so heart-broken I didn't hear back from Berkeley ? I thought I had a great connection with POI.

Just saw someone got accepted into Harvard anthropology program. Was wondering if they accept with interviews? Or is that acceptance most likely for a master program

Anyone applied to Chicago had a heart attack when they send out the email about "application under review". Man, I hate it when universities starts of their email with "Thank you for applying to....." Makes me feel like its a rejection letter LOL

It’s a wonderful program for sure! But not a top choice. This has nothing to do with the school itself! Its just that I have been living in Canada since forever. Kinda want a new environment. McGill is kinda like my option to stay (relatively) closer to family, if this makes sense!

A faculty member from McGill reached out and want to meet with me via Zoom. Not sure if this is an official interview though. She just said she saw my application, would be glad to co-supervise me and wanted to chat to learn more. But regardless, I am assuming this is something positive?

Did you apply to Yale? I also applied to a combined Anthro and WGSS program. Didn't know they only take one person though!

I am really anxious as well! I applied to 7 doctorate program for anthropology and haven't heard back yet. But based on past years' results, I think it is still too early. I do think that most programs will have interviews though (but I heard it is mostly casual virtual meetings with your POIs).
