Hi there, for those who have had some interview experiences already, what questions were you asked, and how did you prepare for a successful interview with your POI and other faculty members? Also, if you were transferring from a different program or discipline (still in social sciences), how did you explain your situation to make it neutral? Any tips and advice would be helpful. Thank you!!
Same here. I just got mine too. Hope more good news on the way. I haven't received any good ones yet, no interviews, no offers. As a first-time sociology applicant, no idea what to expect, especially about the timeline. Absolutely congrats on those who got into their dream offers. I guess I will have to hang on a little bit longer to hear from all my applied programs.
Hey all,
Does anyone know about Northeastern University's sociology program, or from previous experience? I only received a "pre-admission" event invite as a "top candidate." The event will be on campus in Boston this year and they will reimburse most of the cost. However, the concept of "pre-admission" is new to me; my understanding of that is similar to "waitlisted." Not sure what to expect..
Thanks in advance!
