    Seems like admissions journeys are starting to come to a close and I'm feeling conflicted! Still haven't gotten official results from UCSB and Columbia (but saw acceptances so not holding out hope). I've got an acceptance from one place and know I should be grateful about it, but a month of rejection has me feeling uncertain and like I could have somehow done better? Is it stupid to consider reapplying when I have an admission to a pretty good school that I like?! Would love to chat someone having similar second thoughts or someone who reapplied after a similar situation! Hope yall are taking care of yourselves ❤️

    How many times a day are yall checking grad cafe?

    Can someone who got a Berkeley informal call/email acceptance post when you get your official letter this week, so I can *officially* let that dream die.

    Do most departments pay for your recruitment visits after having been admitted? Having a hard time finding transparent info about this on department pages.

    Seeming like the UC schools are gonna put out results later than usual. Do we think that's because of the strikes? Any insider info on this front?

    I feel like everyone and their mother applies to Berkeley so based on the absence on the results page, I'm assuming no one has yet.

    U Chicago rejections rolling in this morning. Last year Berkeley sent out their first round of rejections this week so let's see if we can get some more sadness out of the way before the week is up. Feeling nervous

    Did anyone who got a Yale interview apply jointly to WGSS? Holding out hope that maybe those with joint apps are taking longer to send out interviews since I only saw two folks post about interviews.

    Anyone know if Yale interviews all potential acceptances? Saw someone got an interview request today and wanting to manage expectations.

    While the notion of programs taking smaller cohorts is terrifying as an individual in this particular moment of waiting, better stipends/support for those individuals seems to be ethically the right choice and what I would want if I were accepted. But the fact that these changes are potentially slowing results down is pure torture.

    I just FEEL like U Chicago is going to send out interview invitations today. I have no basis for this thought. But all of my school results historically come in February, but U Chicago usually does interviews around now and I'm so hungry for some crumb of information.
