hi friends, hope everyone is doing well. I just received an interview from Columbia (painting). If anyone has any feedback/ thoughts on the school and/ or the interview process, I'd love to hear it! sending lots of love to all.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I'm in my mid twenties and had applied a few times already so it was an odd note to receive. Wondering if anyone here has gotten that letter before and later had success?

those rejected from yale painting-- did anyone else get the 'try again in a few years' note?

Also just got a Yale rejection, but also got an odd "encouraging message in regards to future candidacy" basically saying try again in a few years. is this boiler plate / did anyone else/ everyone else get this?

pretty sure all the interviews go out in feb... maybe it was for a different mfa? (theatre, writing, etc) ?
