  1. Well there's my last rejection
  2. This place has gone quiet. Anyone get into any schools that they are planning on turning down? To be more specific anyone get into Stanford that doesn't plan on going?
  3. Columbia was my last hope (outside of a waitlist school). I tried to apply to UChicago, but I thought the date was the 5th and it was the 4th. Had it done just never hit send.
  4. Rejection from Princeton yesterday by email
  5. Got another rejection from Emory. I'm used to their rejections though lol. Sidenote is the person who got into Stanford for am rel in here?
  6. No problem keep pushing. Your work is valuable and the world would be honored to see it. Keep reaching out and you'll find something or someone
  7. Don't let their lack of response get you down. Continue to find someone who appreciates your topic and sees your vision. Most schools have financial aid for applications. I think most (if not all) mine were waived this year.
  8. I got another email from Yale telling me to check my portal...just to get another rejection letter lol someone tell them to leave me alone
  9. I didn't get an email from Columbia either. I wonder if they had an interview. I got my rejection from Yale early because I got interviewed, so maybe that's it.
  10. Congratulations on the acceptance to those. I loved my time at Candler. I have applied to Emory so many times not even get an interview.
  11. Last year was supposed to be my last year applying, but I spoke with a professor who really took an interest in me and my work. They helped me your year and after years of applying I finally got two interviews (1 wait-list and 1 rejection). It's a tough thing. I did not want to apply again this year but it's the most success I've had so far. Have you tried meeting with professors and forming a mentorship bond. Seeing if they can help you with your application? Maybe reach out to a few professors and explain your situation and say this is your last time applying and ask if they would either give you a reading list or look over your application beforehand. A couple people are encouraging me to try one more year if I don't get in this time, but I'm tired of applying especially not even getting interviewed at places I felt I should get into. Pray for guidance (if you're religious/spiritual), but don't give up. Do you mind me asking what financial things are causing you to not be able to apply past next year?
  12. Nah, my assumption is they notifying people who had interviews. I'm probably one of the few who got an interview and got denied which is probably why I got mine early.
